June 2025 Minutes
1. CALL TO ORDER
PRESIDENT – Grace Cazes called the meeting to order with the Opening Prayer of St. Francis and Pledge of Allegiance.
2. ROLL CALL/NAME TAGS
VICE PRESIDENT – – Lynn Hitchcock provided the roster to all attendees to note their presence at the meeting. Prayer requests are included on this sheet. There were no guests present.
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM LAST MEETING
RECORDING SECRETARY – Bethany Sclafani inquired if there were any responses from members to May minutes issued via email on 5/23/25. Having no responses, President Grace Cazes approved the minutes as recorded.
4. CARDS SENT FOR BIRTHDAYS, ANNIVERSARIES, MISCELLANEOUS
CORRESPONDING SECRETARY – In Laura Roshto’s absence, President Grace Cazes reported on the cards sent and received.
5. ACCOUNT BALANCE
TREASURER – Eretta Perrien reported expenses and account balance. She also provided an audit update.

6. NEW BUSINESS ITEMS TO DISCUSS
A. Nametag collections- Julie Giroir provided the total of approximate $110 and collected for those who didn’t have nametag. It was recommended by President Grace Cazes to wait until next year to donate when we have a larger amount to contribute. Lorraine Lauret recommended we roll the amount into Community Donations. President Grace Cazes stated that could be discussed next month.
B. Meeting Place – Confirmed with Office – Meetings will be held in the Library until the renovation of church is complete. There will be NO POTLUCK. Ildi Gajda mentioned considering a different time for meetings. Incoming President, Renee Lindsey will discuss with the Knights and report back to the auxiliary in the next meeting.
C. First Communion Gifts Update - President Grace Cazes discussed the appreciation she received for the gifts.
D. Lady of the Month – June – Recipient was Ildi Gajda for her ongoing support in all Auxiliary events
E. MANNINO NIFTY 50/50 GAME – Faye Coorpender- discussed how to handle this while meeting in the library – possibly a cart in the entry hall or wait until we return to the family center. Incoming President, Renee Lindsey will consider all options and make a decision on how to handle the 50/50 in preparation for our next meeting.
7. KC OFFICER MEETING INFORMATION
•KC Adoration Program - if you wish to attend Adoration (Wed 9-10am or Thurs 1-2pm), please contact Mike Giroir.
•KC Led Rosary prior to 4:00pm Mass – 6/21 (Any volunteers, please let Renee know) Updated dates to follow
•KC/Auxiliary Officer Installation Ceremony – June 14th in Church after 4:00pm Mass - Cammie Talbot was appointed Parliamentarian for the upcoming year. Ildi Gajda will represent Bethany Sclafani in her absence at the officer’s installation.
8. ONGOING BUSINESS
A. Sanctuary House/St. Patrick House: no report was provided
B. Fun Things to Do – Pat Gaudet recommended providing snacks to the women and children at Iris Domestic Violence Center. This may be explored next month and it will be recommended if any snacks remain after PSR and Vacation Bible School.
