8. ONGOING BUSINESS
A. Sanctuary House/St. Patrick House Committee: Laura Roshto, Lynn Hitchcock & Faye Coorpender
(This committee will be disbanded. Laura Roshto has been in touch with the Sanctuary House and they refused gifts this year and stated that they will only accept monetary donations going forward. A clear statement of where the funds would go seems to follow along the same lines as SVDP.)
B. Fun things to do – Paula Huckabee has a Pilgrim Rosary that is circulating currently through different states and is now in her hands here in Baton Rouge. The Pilgrim Rosary was started by Fr. David Michael Moses in the Houston area. The Rosary has touched the relics of St. Catherine of Sienna, St. Pierre Giorgio Frassati and St. Carlo Acutis. Paula's friend also touched (in 2025) the rosary to the relic of the true wood that is in the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans in Shreveport. Paula has offered this Rosary to anyone who would like to take it for a very brief time, say the Rosary and pass on to the next person. There is a QR code that you can scan and watch it travel across the country. Those that have the Rosary, please text Paula and let her know to whom you will be sending it to next.
