KAYCEE LADIES AUXILIARY
FEBRUARY MEETING MINUTES
FEBRUARY 5, 2026
6:00 PM

1. CALL TO ORDER
President – Renee Lindsey called the meeting to order with the Opening Prayer of St. Francis and Pledge of Allegiance. Rosary was prayed prior to the meeting

2. ROLL CALL / NAME TAGS
Vice President – Theresa Tracy provided the roster to all attendees to note their presence at the meeting. Prayer requests were included on this sheet. There were no guests present. Lorraine Lauret collected .25 per missing tag which totaled $1.00.

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM LAST MEETING
Recording Secretary – Bethany Sclafani asked for any responses from members to January minutes issued via email. There were no edits requested and the minutes were approved by President Renee Lindsey as issued.

4. CARDS SENT FOR BIRTHDAYS, ANNIVERSARIES, MISCELLANEOUS
Corresponding Secretary – In Laura Roshto’s absence, Vice President Theresa Tracy reported on letters received and cards sent.

5. ACCOUNT BALANCE
Treasurer – Eretta Perrien reported expenses and account balance.

6. NEW BUSINESS ITEMS TO DISCUSS
A. Lady of the Month – Amy Lawler made a presentation for the bake sale by providing those who donated and worked a lapel pin. 

B. Community Donation- Eretta Perrien made a motion to give $200 to Baton Rouge Soldier Outreach, this motion was seconded by Amy Lawler and passed unanimously. 

C. Upcoming Cook Events - Volunteers Needed: Ladies were encoursged to see Marty Mumphry. Feb. 6th - at MBS - Diocese Summit of Spiritual Directors (150 people - spaghetti, green beans & roll). Feb. 14th - Habitat for Humanity - pulled pork sandwiches 50 - deliver for 11:30. 

Feb. 20th - 1st Lenten Fish Fry - need cole slaw makers - time TBA & need 12-15 servers 4:00- sign up sheet was passed around. This event will be in the gym and will be all take out this yeard due to renovation of church. 

March 19th - Wheelchair Tennis - 300 people (Jambalaya, white beans & roll) cook starts at NOON, serving will be in the evening. 

March 25th - Special Olympics at Woodlawn HS - start at 9:30 sausage poboys - need 3-5 servers. D. M. Mannino Nifty 50/50 Game – $8 was given to winner Gaynor St. Romain. Pulled by Kathy Heckman. E. Any new business to be added to next month’s agenda? 

7. KC OFFICER MEETING INFORMATION
A. KC Adoration Program – if you attend Adoration (Wed 9-10am or Thurs 1-2pm) please sign “KC” in front of your name when signing in. 

B. KC Rosary – Ladies were encouraged to volunteer to lead the rosary. If interested, please let Renee Lindey know. 

8. ONGOING BUSINESS
A. Sanctuary House/St. Patrick House Committee: Laura Roshto, Lynn Hitchcock & Faye Coorpender

9. CALENDAR OF EVENTS
A. Spiritual Directors Conference MBS - 3-5 servers needed arrive 11:15 - serve at 11:30 FRIDAY, FEB 6TH – Ladies interestred were instructed to contact Renee Lindsey at 225-292-5960 

B. Free throw competition - Sunday, Feb 8th - gym 

C. Habitat for Humanity - Saturday, Feb 14th - Gardere area - arrive at 8:00 with closed toed shoes contact Bryon Hume - bhume@tipton-associates.com 

D. Date TBD - KCs will cook for parish celebration of reopening of the church 

E. St. Patrick Family Day - Sunday, April 26th - Silent Auction - Do you have an item to donate?
