KAYCEE LADIES AUXILIARY
MARCH MEETING MINUTES
MARCH 5, 2026
6:00 PM

1. CALL TO ORDER
President – Renee Lindsey called the meeting to order with the Opening Prayer of St. Francis and Pledge of Allegiance. Rosary was prayed prior to the meeting

2. ROLL CALL / NAME TAGS
Vice President – Theresa Tracy provided the roster to all attendees to note their presence at the meeting. Prayer requests are included on this sheet. There were no guests. Lorraine Lauret collects $0.25 per missing tag and collected $0.25.

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM LAST MEETING
Recording Secretary – Bethany Sclafani asked for any responses from members to February minutes issued via email. No edits were needed and the minutes were approved as issued by President Renee Lindsey.

4. CARDS SENT FOR BIRTHDAYS, ANNIVERSARIES, MISCELLANEOUS
Corresponding Secretary – Laura Roshto reported on cards sent, etc.

5. ACCOUNT BALANCE
Treasurer – Eretta Perrien reported expenses and account balance.

6. NEW BUSINESS ITEMS TO DISCUSS

A. Lady of the Month – Amy Lawler continued presentations for the bake sale.

B. Community Donation - open to suggestions – Amy Lawler mentioned the Tim Tebow Foundation.

C. Upcoming Cook Events - Volunteers Needed: see Marty Murphy

  • Fish Fry Fridays - March 6, 13, 20 & 27. We need about 9 ladies to serve - 4:15-6:30

  • March 19th - Wheelchair Tennis - 300 people (Jambalaya, white beans & roll) cook starts at NOON

  • March 21st - Church dedication at 10:00; Mary Godeaux to inquire if servers are needed.

  • March 25th - Special Olympics at Woodlawn HS - start at 9:30 sausage poboys - need 3-5 servers, Renee Lindsey, Amy Lawler, and Andreal St. Cyr.

  • April 19th - cook for catechumens

D. M. Mannino Nifty 50/50 Game – Faye Coorpender had Lorraine Lauret draw and she selected Ildi Gajda who won $6.50 and returned it.

E. No one provided new business to be added to next month’s agenda

7. KC OFFICER MEETING INFORMATION

A. KC Adoration Program – if you attend Adoration (Wed 9-10am or Thurs 1-2pm) please sign “KC” in front of your name when signing in.

B. KC Rosary – Cammie Talbot volunteered to lead the rosary. If you would like to lead the rosary, let Renee Lindsey know.

8. ONGOING BUSINESS

A. Sanctuary House/St. Patrick House Committee: Laura Roshto, Lynn Hitchcock & Faye Coorpender

B. Fun things to do – Amy Lawler will explore Angel faith based movies for ladies to see. Renee shared that the Relics of Saint Faustina would be at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Mission on Friday March 6th and Saturday March 7th from 10-2 and again 4-9. Sunday March 8th from 10-2.

9. CALENDAR OF EVENTS

A. KCs WILL NOT cook for parish celebration of reopening of the church

B. St. Patrick Family Day - Sunday, April 26th - Silent Auction – Renee asked if anyone had an item to donate? Renee will attend and hope to recruit by sitting at a table with brochures & she welcomes volunteers to join her in manning the table to answer questions.
