September 2025 Minutes
1. CALL TO ORDER
President — Renee Lindsey called the meeting to order with the Opening Prayer of St. Francis and Pledge of Allegiance.
Rosary was led by Renee Lindsey
2. ROLL CALL/NAME TAGS
Vice President — Theresa Tracy provided the roster to all attendees to note their presence at the meeting. Prayer requests were included on this sheet. Myrna Bouchereau was recognized as a guest and she joined at the conclusion of the meeting.
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM LAST MEETING
Recording Secretary — Bethany Sclafani asked if there were any responses from members to August minutes issued via email.
With no edits noted, the minutes were approved as issued by Renee Lindsey.
4. CARDS SENT FOR BIRTHDAYS, ANNIVERSARIES, MISCELLANEOUS
Corresponding Secretary — Laura Roshto reported on cards sent, birthdays, and anniversaries, etc.
5. ACCOUNT BALANCE
Treasurer — Eretta Perrien reported on expenses and account balance. She mentioned that dues are $10 and can be paid to her after the meeting.

6. NEW BUSINESS ITEMS TO DISCUSS
A. Name tag collections — Julie Giroir collected $1.00 and Lorraine Lauret will supervise this duty going forward.
B. Lady of the Month — September was not named this month.
C. Meeting Dates Proposal — it was discussed meetings will continue monthly. Next meeting is October 2nd at 6 pm.
D. Community Donation — discussed contributing to Born to Run, the race that supports Women’s New Life Clinic. Faye Coorpender provided an overview of the race and Team Speedy. Lynn Hitchcock motioned to contribute $250 and Cammie Talbot seconded the motion. It was unanimously approved.
E. Rosary — discussed combining with Knights and a vote was held; the majority was in favor of joining the Knights in the church prior to our meeting.
F. M. Mannino Nifty 50/50 Game — Faye Coorpender awarded $10 to Mike Giroir.
G. Bake Sale — Amy Lawler offered to chair again this year. President Renee Lindsey discussed setting tables up outside each doorway to the Family Center. It was discussed that nothing will be able to be refrigerated.
7. KC OFFICER MEETING INFORMATION
A. KC Adoration Program — if you attend Adoration (Wed 9–10 a.m. or Thurs 1–2 p.m.) please sign “KC” in front of your name when signing in.
B. KC Rosary — October 4th (Joyful). If you would like to lead the rosary, let Renee Lindsey know.
8. ONGOING BUSINESS
A. Sanctuary House / St. Patrick House Committee: Laura Roshto, Lynn Hitchcock, Melinda Leblanc & Faye Coorpender
B. Fun things to do — Lorraine Lauret recommended visiting St. John’s in Zachary, as the Adoration Chapel has been completed.
9. CALENDAR OF EVENTS
A. Born to Run: Saturday, November 8th — KCs cooking on site — sausage po’boys
B. Acts Retreat — Ladies were encouraged to sign up this weekend if interested. Retreat will begin Friday, November 7th.
